SINGLE launches temperature control systems for light-alloy diecasting SINGLE develops, manufactures and sells water-operated temperature control systems, heat transfer units, air-cooled or water-cooled chillers as well as customized special product series and solutions. Equipped with decades of experience in the production of temperature control units for polymer processing applications and other technical areas of application as well as tried-and-tested competence in the implementation of customized special solutions for every requirement, SINGLE has now moved into the market for temperature control of diecasting dies.

The company boosts its position with a variety of technical benefits that keep its systems abreast of the competition in this market segment. While other competitive products in the diecasting segment cater to maximum temperatures of 320 F (160°C), SINGLE presents temperature control systems using water as a heat transfer medium for temperatures of up to 400 F (200°C). Therefore, SINGLE systems are proven to optimally utilize the vastly superior heat transfer properties of water over oil in an even wider temperature range. Moreover, SINGLE offers a range of units with significantly better heating, cooling and pump performance than that of well-established competitive products.

Flow meter included

In contrast to all other competitive products, all SINGLE units are equipped with a flow meter as standard. Flow metering is becoming increasingly important for the production of premium-quality components for the automotive industry as it allows assessment, monitoring and documentation of process parameters. Flow meters used by SINGLE operate without moving parts by way of the pressure differential principle and are therefore low in maintenance and wear.
